Interesting article Rachel – especially the biomass consumed and number of reptiles this represents. What is interesting following this thread back, is the distinction between feral cats and fed domestic ones. The later generally, if neutered, will tend to have a more local and limited impact on biodiversity. Though this can be still significant ( eg mating with wild cats and local extinction ) . But feral cats as the article points out have a massive impact….
