Thanks for that link SteveT. What an interesting study. I actually think its only a matter of time before the Sierra Morena contains wolves again. Surely they will move down from the north as numbers grow and they disperse (as is their nature.) We’ll see though how landowners and stakeholders cope with that. I read somewhere recently (though I can’t find the article now) that the Spanish government have a legal obligation under EU law to re introduce wolf into the Sierra Morena….. I presume this is why the Junta de Andalucia took 20 years to declare them extinct! heel dragging at its very Spanish best! hehehehehehe
