Identify this butterfly? SOLVED: Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus)

Hello, it seems a bit early but spring seems to have arrived here in my part of Spain (Seville) and today I saw a lot of butterflies. Can someone help me identify this large yellow one?

Hi Carl, have a google for Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus). What plant is it on? looks like fig?

Thanks Helen, yes it was on a fig tree but i don’t think it was feeding or laying eggs. Just catching a bit of sunshine 🙂

And yes, I googled as you suggested and agree with you that it is a Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus)
