The tv footage is quite spectacular and some houses have already been buried under the lava flow…
El Pais in English has some good information…

Here is a video of the lava flowing over houses and down roads… It is quite stunning in its destruction… Over 200 houses now buried but it hasnt reached the sea yet.

As mentioned, the tv coverage is everywhere but I found this great map of the evolution of the current eruption and also all the earthquakes…

And now volcano tourism!
Volcano touristsâ cause congestion on La Palma, with plane tickets going for as much as âŹ500!
âOur associates in La Palma have said to us that a lot of tourists are arriving, mostly coming from other islands,â explains Juan Pablo GonzĂĄlez, the manager of Ashotel, a hospitality association serving the Canary Islands, which are a Spanish archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean off the northwestern coast of Africa.
âThey are coming with the simple aim of seeing the volcano,â he explains. âNow is not the moment for tourism for La Palma, itâs the time to help, and these people are not doing that and are instead occupying beds that could, for example, be used by the security forces.â

30 days and its still blowing out larvae and ash like the first day…. Interesting to see that the tourist board for La Palma released a statement saying that only 6 percent of the island is affected and that the rest of the island is open for business as normal!
There are even tour companies no providing organised day trips. “Excursiones relĂĄmpago a La Palma para ver el VOLCĂN”

An amazing story of the beehives that survived even though they were very close to the volcano.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/59547125
The bees, known in the region as the Canary black bee, used propolis, a resin-like mixture sometimes known as bee glue, to seal themselves inside.
They even built a little tunnel in their hive to make sure they could escape if they needed to.
Antonio Quesada, spokesperson for the Gran Canaria Beekeepers Association, told the New York Times: “It’s incredible how such a tiny animal that has been around for hundreds of thousands of years can maintain that resilience, that ability to survive.”
