DaveA very interesting study has just been published at nature.com regarding the dispersal and territories of re introduced Iberian Lynx… The study was carried out in the Iberian lynx reintroduction area of Hornachos-Matachel Valley in SW Spain (Badajoz, Extremadura) comprising some 90 km2.
The Matachel Valley is centrally placed between the various lynx populations and could provide a strategically important area providing inter-connectivity between them.
