Oh dear indeed…. What a terrible “news” paper….
There is a great video from fapas here that talks of the dangers of over enthusiastic wildlife watchers causing families of bears to act differently…
I think that more and more people will come into contact with the bear populations as they grow and expand. Its inevitable really that some contacts will end badly as it did for the poor lady last week…

The oso pardo foundation have a better and more informed article about it….
I hope the lady gets better soon but this area is well known for a healthy population of bears so maybe their behavior has been affected by too much wildlife tourism? ….

Yes, thats a much better and more informative piece than the one in the gutter press from the UK!!!
The area where this happened is pretty stunning and I think quite popular for both wolf and bear watching trips…..
