Birding in the Gorafe region of the Granada province

Does anyone have any birding suggestions for the Gorafe area? I’ve never been, the Alpujarra and Sierra Nevada mountains are where I live, so am looking for any information anyone can share.

That area is more famous for the geopark, dolmens etc but I bet there is some great birding as well…..

Thanks Dave, I’d also come across that article when searching for information. Birding looks promising but just need more specifics on where to head for. We are only there over night, but are heading back in the autumn.

Thanks Clive. Trust the weather to turn so hot, it’s going to be between 36 and 38 degrees so not much walking going to happen on this brief visit. We are heading back there in the late autumn for one of the longer walks.
