DaveThe chick has died at 8 days old and it seems that the cause was some kind of altercation between a parent and a stranger black vulture…. The video of the other one at the nest acting not particularly aggressive is here: At the end of the video you can see the chick is not moving.. maybe the parent trod on it accidentally?
