Some time ago in the wilds of Los Monegros, AragĂłn. Abandoned residential estate, roads, signs, lamposts neatly laid out, one of numerous schemes of greed across the state. Potent symbol of Spanish capital’s love of easy money in construction and real estate over innovation. Failure never looked so tidy as an American friend said when I showed him these images.

Ha! This was the macro project included the construction of 32 casinos, 70 hotels, five theme parks and a town of 100,000 inhabitants. Opening was planned for mid-2012.
I remember the “shroomies” of the old ibnat forum tearing their hair out in despair at this fantastic idea 🙂
