Threads of Iberia: Weaving together nature, culture and history
After being released some years ago in the Montes de Toledo and then hit by a car and having two years of recuperation and part of a leg amputated… It seems that “Lucero” gets another chance.
He has recently been released in a quiet area of Castilla la Mancha where it is hoped he will be able to survive on his own and find a mate. The area was selected as it has no male lynx thus offering Lucero a better chance without having to defend himself from jealous males.
