Threats to Spains National Parks

Heres my take on the work ahead needed especially after the news that Doñana is going to get over 1 billion in funding over the next few years in “set aside” funding in order to get farmers to protect their very own land. Sigh!

Despite a substantial multi million-euro investment in Doñana, the remaining national parks in Spain grapple with a spectrum of challenges, spanning from drought and unbridled tourism to wildfires and the encroachment of invasive species.

I don’t know. To be honest look at the track records for Doñana, Damiel etc etc. Even with so much European funding. And earlier I saw a petition to stop hunting in Monfrague. Ufff!

Re the image, It looks northern Spain? But then I saw the clue from Ludo! Guadarrama!!!!! hehehehehehe

Anyway, nice piece Clive, I never understand why the mainstream news outlets never pick up your stuff? Maybe its too honest and close to the bone or something?
